Seen from the intersection of endocrinology and epidemiology I am mainly concerned with the effects of hormones on health and disease. In this regard, my focus is particularly on the effects of sex hormones.
Within the Amsterdam UMC there is a lot of information available on long-term effects of sex hormones in transgender persons. LASA also provides important reference data.
