My work focuses on longitudinal developments of older adults’ health and care use. I study these changes by identifying which common trajectories in health and care use emerge over time. Because recent policy reforms require more older people to live independently, instead of moving to a care facility, I also investigate which care trajectories are associated with which health trajectories, to see whether people with a high care need tend to receive the care needed.
